“This was my first Review Day, having rejoined the business after two years working in the fashion sourcing industry in Hong Kong. I ran a session sharing my knowledge of how retailers in the market and sourcing functions need to join up to unlock cost, speed and resilience in an industry with a long lead time. I felt glad to have rejoined a business full of bright minds, who are interested in learning about different parts of the value chain and different cultures.”

“I was on a project travelling to a fashion client headquartered in a European city. It had been challenging being away from home. We had a team dinner, with local seafood and dishes. Chatting to everyone gave me an appreciation for what the job offers: an exposure to different cultures, different people, and lifelong learnings as well as the interesting work.”

“Every day, I get to see the real impact our work can have on people, but one project stands out during my first year. I was working on improving the outcomes of the children’s social care system and we were conducting interviews. I remember a client sharing the difficulties of working in children’s social care and what the current outcomes of children in care looked like. Hearing it from them firsthand, made it clear to me how the project would carry a direct impact and improvement on society.”

“At the end of the week, I received shoutouts from my team on the work I'd done as part of the project. They saw how I’d gone above and beyond to model and then stress test our design. We had our "wins of the week" call and I took screenshots of what the team had said to add to my development folder. It had been a long week but I felt so energised and was amazing to see my contributions were being recognised by everybody involved.”
